Loom SV 2016 Field Blend Grenache Shiraz
$30.00
Out of stock
Colour: Deep ruby Nose: Not as pronounced as the others in the range. Definite shiraz footprint. Plum, bramble, cherry, five spice and tomato bush. Palate: Sleek wine. Structurally sound. Old vine fruit kicking goals here fro sure. Full bodied and complex with stacks of fruit character offset by dark chocolate, spice and vanilla. Nice underlying secondary element. Bright fruit and road base. Perfect duo. This thing will soften nicely.
Vineyard: A near equal split of Grenache and Shiraz fruit sourced from our own old-vine single site LOOM vineyard in McLaren Vale. Winemaking: Fermentation took place on skins in 2 tonne fermenters with two pump-overs daily until dry. The wine was then transferred to a mix of French and American oak, of which 30% was new, to build complexity, before blending and bottling. Vegan friendly.(14.5%ABV)
