The 5OS Project Grenache 2018

The grapes for this wine were grown by Dean and Jodie Zimmer at their little vineyard on Twenty-Eight Road in the McLaren Vale. We’ve sourcing fruit from them for the last 10 years, citing the site as one of the best for top-quality Grenache grapes across the whole of South Australia.

About The 5OS Project

This is essentially our ‘Home Brand’. We make these wines ourselves and farm out others to mates, with the intention to create a range of wines that have heaps of drinkability but not at the expense of varietal, regional and vintage characteristics. They should also look the part, embracing the talent of the respective artists whilst encouraging them to find their own beat.

Aromatics: Plenty of raspberry fruit and gentle spice
Palate: Light and graceful with a bit more brawn about it once you get under the bonnet
Finish: A moreish freshness makes the finish sing
Cellaring: Best before 2030
